Wow. I was all excited that our town just built a public swimming pool (something they haven't had until now). I just figured up how much it will cost for me to take the kids for ONE VISIT: $26.

Forget swimming every day.

In Germany it would cost us just under $12.

Apparently not. I was sort of expecting them to offer some kind of seasonal pass, but...no.

Looks like they're billing themselves more as a water park (there are a few waterslides) than a straight swimming pool. Still.
