Wow. I was all excited that our town just built a public swimming pool (something they haven't had until now). I just figured up how much it will cost for me to take the kids for ONE VISIT: $26.
Forget swimming every day.
In Germany it would cost us just under $12.
*faints*

Date: 2011-06-28 09:34 pm (UTC)Iceland was also super affordable. Here it is 10 euros for a family, so about 14 dollars.
Maybe there are other places where people swim in your town. ?

Date: 2011-06-28 11:49 pm (UTC)We did end up going--I think they are trying to bill themselves as a water park and not just a swimming pool. Yes, they have water slides. But it's still a bit small for water park prices, IMO.
