Friday and revisions

I've spent the entire day revising ONE conversation. Yeesh! That was supposed to be the easy chapter. I have Major Scene Displacement coming up, in which I try moving up a revelation between two characters. I was hoping to get there today, but uh...not so far.

I did finally excavate the house and clean up the remains of summer. (I hate cleaning, have I mentioned before? No matter how much I clean on one end of the house, happy little hands are busy taking it apart at the other, and no matter how much effort I put into it, it never looks much different.) Anyway, I went in to pick up the living room today and PMB followed me in to stand beneath the CD player.

In the end I had to play my daughters' weird dance music for him. Yes, he's only 13 months old and he MUST HAVE MUSIC. (That is also partly why the writing was slow today. Whenever I pick up the laptop he gets this gleam of Mommy, YouTube? in his eye. And lies on top of my keyboard.
