Reading: Septimus Heap: Queste. We have some of these in English and some in German. I must admit that the spelling is less annoying in German. When all your nouns are capitalized anyhow, you don't notice the Peculiar Spellynges as much. And I think Feuerspei is a cooler name than Spit Fyre for a dragon. Anyhow, I wandered into my local bookstore just to see if the books I'm waiting to read in May (The Host and the newest Percy Jackson) were somehow on the shelves yet (they weren't), and this one was only 10 euro and my son is reading the series. It's okay. I'm really more of a YA than a MG reader. As I've said before, YA tends to be focused more on a single character and it's a them-against-the-world sort of thing (even with multiple focal characters, if that's possible). Like many MG books, this one just is overwhelming with characters, and I like Sep, but there are an awful lot of people to keep track of. Still, it's entertaining and better than some.
Writing: I've been doing my second week of serious revisions. I like how the beginning went, and now I'm in the middle. I'm not sure I like it so well. There may be several revisions of the revisions.

Moving: working on getting tickets. (Note: never convert large euro amounts into dollars at a 1.60 exchange rate unless you want heart failure.)

Health: anemia is bad. When you can't walk across your apartment without getting out of breath, you need iron. Three days of iron supplements = a much better-feeling me. I'm glad Germans have finally decided that prenatal vitamins are okay  to produce.

Everything else: uh, yeah, I'm getting to it. If I owe you a crit, I know and am working on it. If I owe you activity outlines for the upcoming week-long youth trip, uh, I'm working on it. If you want me to teach you to sew or to play the tuba, sorry, I can't help you.
