The kids have winter break (which we all know is really Carnival break--see Natalie's blog; it's similar in Germany, only without the hillbilly teeth) this week, so we're going up to the Rhineland for a bit to visit friends and see Bonn, where we lived the first year we were married (and haven't visited since). I'm particularly looking forward to seeing an old friend from Chile who happens to be half German and now lives here (is that weird, or what??). Although--I hope I can say something. I can understand Spanish fine, but now the first foreign language on my tongue is German.

Anyway, I hope you all have awesome deals and tons of great news while I'm gone!
