First day of summer

You know, it's really hard to boot the kids off the computer on this first day of summer break and tell them to go outside when the windchill is 35 degrees. Just saying...

Thank God we're starting summer break the second week of July! My kids hate to spend a single hour at home and over here and overhere they can't play outside in the neighborhood without me with them. Good luck with the kids!

We had six weeks off in Germany and that was about right. (We also had 1-2 weeks off at other random times of the year.) It's the first day and already I'm wondering what we're going to do all summer...
