I think I will be finishing PD Baccalario's Ring of Fire today, bringing the grand total to something like 117? Which is nothing compared to [livejournal.com profile] robinellen 's reading list!

This also doesn't include picture books or the many books I started but for whatever reason didn't get to finish.

Wow. I think I need to start a book journal so I can keep track of what I read and what I think of it or what I learn from it.

May the new year be filled with many happy reads.

Well, I noticed that my reading really stepped up once I was reading in my own language again. (Although I'm pleasantly surprised at how well I'm reading the books we ordered off of amazon.de this Christmas. Of course, they're on a fourth-grade reading level, so...)

You weren't kidding, we do have a lot of books in common on our lists. I also see some on yours I just might have to add to the ever growing TBR list.

I'm glad I landed in a place with a good library; this whole reading thing would be a lot harder and a lot more expensive if I hadn't!

I swiped a number of these off of other people's reading lists...

Oh my goodness! I read maybe 25-30 books a year. I'm a slow reader.

Well, some of them are not terribly long, either...

Still quite impressive :) I have a number of these that I have and need to read (I brought a box with me to OK -- I've read two so far *sigh*).

Well, I did not finish my last book, despite carrying it around with me. But--holidays ARE for visiting with people, so I don't feel too bad. (We spent the day with my parents.)

Hope you're having fun in OK!

You must have a magnificent library! I have several of these on hold, but I'm number 26 or so on many of them. I must say, I'm glad to know you're just as addicted to reading as I am! How many do you think our mom reads in a month?

No idea, but son 2 was very impressed by the basement of books when we were there today.

And yes, our library is fantastic. And I put things on hold, but I often know beforehand things I want to check out, so my holds get placed when the book is still on order. Having writer friends is useful in getting to an early spot in the line!
