Yellowstone

The weather was all right and so was everyone's stomach, so we went to Yellowstone today. It's supposed to snow up there tomorrow, so we figure, busy though we are, that this was our last chance to go up there until spring. It ended up being nicer than I'd expected (no rain, and around 50 degrees--10 C--depending on where we were). I wanted to see animals, and we did, such as this elk:



A whole lot of these ravens, which were not at all shy. We named this one Odin because he was keeping an EXCEEDINGLY close eye on the parking at Fairy Falls:
