A friend of mine in Germany says her office is right across from the Frankfurt Book Fair. *dies of envy* (Although it would probably be bad for my bank account. Last night I dreamed my kids persuaded me to fly them to France to go to a bookstore. I tried very hard to not spend too much, as I assured my husband once I got back. I think the dream was to show that really, I won't be spending THAT much at the school book fairs next week!)
It's sunny-ish and supposed to be in the upper 60s tomorrow. Yellowstone is only open a short time longer, and we'd love to go up there. But it looks like DH has finally gotten what everyone else has had. So...if he is home sick, maybe we'll try one of the state parks. I think this might be the last weekend they're open (if they still are).
I had a couple of really helpful critiques of the opening chapters of a book I'd put away indefinitely, and--I think I'm finally figuring out how to fix some of the issues. Maybe not all of them, but maybe the most important ones. I hope.
