Hear that sound?

That quiet, quiet sound. It's the sound of holds coming in at the library and an Amazon delivery. Daughter 1 is reading National Geographic's Weird But True! book that my sister gave the kids for Christmas. Daughter 2 is reading A Little Princess (can I say how fun it is to finally have girls old enough to enjoy some of my favorite girl books?). Son 2 is reading the newest Alex Rider book (Scorpia Rising). And I have a choice between library picks (some of which I convinced the library to buy for me) Sean Griswold's Head (Lindsay Leavitt), The Running Dream (Wendelin van Draanen), Eilis O'Neal's The False Princess, and A.S. King's Please Ignore Vera Dietz, AND the Amazon order that just showed up which included The Eternal Sea (Angie Frazier--my kids looked at the jacket flap and said, hey! We have all of her other books already!) and Maurissa Guibord's Warped. Seriously, I have no idea which to start with!

Now I just need to get PMB occupied with something safe, and we can all enjoy the quiet and books. Hope you're having fun, whatever you're up to today!
