One of those days...

Man, don't you love these kind of days? When your 13YO stays home due to a stomach complaint, when you find a water leak where it definitely shouldn't be (hopefully just caused by someone not engaging the shower curtain properly), when your house is a mess because you have only one hand (seriously--you just try vacuuming stairs with one hand). My husband will be late because he teaches long hours today, too. I just hope to keep people well through tomorrow because Little Sweetie has a field trip to an animal preserve that is normally very expensive, but parents and younger siblings can come for $2 each tomorrow. PMB is VERY excited, so I'm crossing my fingers and trying to keep he and the sick one apart so that no one else comes down with it!

At least I don't have any junior high kids, though. When I drove past this morning, there were fire trucks with hoses, and all the kids were getting in buses to go home...

On the bright side, I think spring has finally arrived! We've had a couple days above 50, and it just feels more springlike. Whew. About time!!!
