Synopses--grr.

WHY is it so much harder to write a query hook or a whole novel than it is to write a summary?? Seriously. I can tell you what the book is about in the short and the long--just not in the middle. The story is well laid-out and easy to outline. It just sounds stupid when I try to write that in narrative sentences.
