German socks!

The smaller ones, as you see, are not exactly the same. I did them with the remaining yarn after the big ones. They are for a 2YO. I didn't have enough yarn to finish the last black stripe, so I bought some black yarn at the local craft store. They don't sell much yarn, and erm, I have to admit that American yarn is just not very nice compared to yarn elsewhere. It all has that Red Heart scratchy fake feel, whereas the yarn in Chile or Germany is varied and actually feels nice on your skin. Yes, even the wool stuff. But I think it will work out for the last little bit of the sock. The kid is only two, and it won't fit long, anyhow.
