Valentine's Day

Well, it looks like Son 2 survived his Valentine's Day event. He gave out stuff, he got stuff, and he wasn't even the only boy in his class who just brought a paper bag to collect his valentines in. (My 6YO daughter, on the other hand, had a MASSIVE heart-shaped pocket.) The 13YO announced, I HATE Valentine's Day! as he came in the door, but I don't know why, as he got free candy and didn't have to do anything embarrassing. Maybe it's just male solidarity or something.

MUCH candy has been consumed in this house today. Eek. I feel like I should just set out carrot sticks for dinner.
