Books read in 2010
Dec. 31st, 2010 02:05 pmI wish it were more, but there was that massive cross country move in the middle, the small new library, and the fact that I also revised two and a half novels and wrote one new one. I also did 11 full critiques and numerous partials. I reread a number of books as you can see. Most of those were because I read books I already loved aloud to my kids. A few were just because I wanted to visit the world again and/or study them for writing education. (I didn't mark some rereads because I read some favorite books twice straight in a row.) And this doesn't count picture books or nonfiction (which I don't tend to read cover to cover, but pick out the parts I find interesting and relevant.)
Some of the following books I LOVED, most I liked, one still gives me the creeps (that would be LAWKI because it's a bit too close to Natural Disasters I Have Experienced), a few I didn't care for, and one I still don't get. But I'd say I got something about of nearly all of them. There are still unread books in the house, so I may sneak back to add more later.
