Failure cake!
Jul. 17th, 2010 10:11 pmEvery so often, DH makes a specially themed cake, usually when my youngest SIL is around. Um, to protect the innocent maybe I don't need to go into detail here, but we've had some fun ones. This summer where we've had some good things and some frustrations, we felt the need to make another one. Ta-da! Failure cake--with sponsors!

(Full disclosure: I have never submitted anything to the publishing house in question, so I do not have the honor of having any rejections from them personally. The logo is merely Symbolic of My Struggles.)
Considering the fact that my BIL's layoff led his family to living in an amazing place close to family with a nicer job than he had before, we are all hoping that the failures noted here end up just as happily. May we all have great jobs, lots of fun European travel, good luck finding a man who is more interested in a relationship than his iPhone, and book success.
