Well, obviously I'm back, and on my own laptop, even. DH took a look at it by hooking it up to the desktop monitor, and after a couple tries it went on for him. He still thinks the motherboard is going, but I've been able to get it back on again, so here I am. But the first thing I did last night was back EVERYTHING up. It could go at any moment, so I think I need to be backing up much more often.
Now to read to the girls. We're reading the last Harry Potter (my 8YO didn't really listen last time I read the series--to my 9YO--so this is her personal HP experience). Also, we're reading Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones, which I really recommend as a read-aloud. Quite entertaining.
I hope you're all having a nice Sunday!
