It's going to be such a week...
Mar. 15th, 2010 10:43 pmI can do anything I want as long as I go to all the meetings and bring all five kids with me.
Tomorrow I'm unexpectedly running the playgroup. (Swapping with someone for my turn, which was in a couple weeks.) I never did find our copy of Green Eggs and Ham while I wascleaning excavating the Disaster That Is My Girls' Bedroom, but thank goodness for YouTube. Now I just need to pick up some ham and eggs and food coloring and we're set to do G is for Green.
Also, DH is going to a jobs meeting on Wednesday (um, it's just info about a kind of job, so nobody get excited), but that means I get to bring all five kids in so that the ones who go to scouts can go. Thursday, DH teaches late, which means I get to bring all the kids to the informational school meeting about band (the 12-year-old needs to be there in person), and then they get to go to a children's class that night while I help bring food for a large dinner. I'm pretty sure there are things Friday that are complicated, but I can't think that far ahead.
Also, I'm stuck on a chapter. Every time I come to it I have the feeling that it needs to be...more. Something. And every time I come to it, it's a week like this one. I seriously need a smiley with its hair standing on end here. Or maybe instead I could have a few moments where there is NO music, NO shrieking, NO exhaustion, NO telephone...etc.
And lastly, I could use some happy stories of people hanging in there and finally finding someone who loved your books enough to open the gate and let them live a more public life.
