Organ

That was fun. Tonight I was asked to play the organ at stake conference (a regional conference with hm, a few hundred people?). I realize now that I must have always harbored the secret desire to sneak into a church and play the organ with all the stops out. (Okay, I don't think I was exactly picturing an audience with this...) However, I seem to have er, managed to do just that. The organist who usually plays that one advised me to use her louder, fuller presettings, and also to turn the volume all the way up. (Last time I did this, six months ago, it was too quiet and you couldn't hear the organ at all once people started singing.) I also played the pedals this time, so um yeah, it was loud! It's been a stressful day/week, so it was really nice to go tonight (all by myself!) and do this.
