Finally, some real meds

Took Son 1 to the doctor today for his ear infection. It was hurting a lot, not only inside, but to the touch outside. So now he has drinkable antibiotics for the middle ear infection, and droppable antibiotics for the outer ear infection. And ibuprofen instead of tylenol. It was kind of hairy getting the prescription filled. I had PMB along, and well...it was kind of like shopping at the souvenir store, only with your favorite orangutang along. I think I was supposed to pick up some OTC stuff as well, but I think we have some at home and I couldn't ask the pharmacist if I could use it on kids or if there was a special kids' edition because a) I kept having to pull PMB off the shelves, and b) I didn't have much of a voice, anyhow. (Note: I am SO glad I have older, civilized children, because I would be despairing after today otherwise. At least I have the assurance that they learn not to do this at some point.)
