How I am feeling about my revisions.

First, thanks for all the great Hobbit food ideas. We ended up doing something rather boring, but I am going to be ready next year! Our next literary holiday would be CS Lewis's birthday (Nov 29)--we will do Turkish Delight (minus the rose water). Anyone know of any other literary holidays we can celebrate?

The revisions. I dreamed last night that I was simultaneously enrolled as a Russian instructor (um...can't speak past Da and Nyet anymore?? and nobody asked me if I wanted to/could do this) and as a 9th grade football player. Um. I am a girl. It wasn't varsity or anything. Just the bottom rung. I kept trying to find someone to explain that all I know about football is just what happens in the specific scenes I wrote--I set up a plot moment and looked for plays that would fit--and that I didn't yet have a clear concept of how the whole game worked. But I never found anybody to tell.
