Never mind
May. 12th, 2009 05:41 pmOh, the joys of living in Arkansas! At about quarter after five this afternoon everything went suddenly pitch black. Now we're listening to our favorite radio station--the weather radio. We are currently only getting hail and possible gusts up to 60 mph, no tornadoes. But still. I got to pry my girls out of the luxurious bath they were taking with Barbies and explain to them that they weren't really dressed for possible flying debris, and to please get out now. It takes a while to develop logic about this sort of thing.
Sigh. I'm on the next-to-last page of the next-to-last chapter's worth of major revisions--after that it's more a matter of tidying up. (After crits I'm sure I will have much, much more to deal with, don't worry.) Little Sweetie even had her playgroup today, and it was just me and Lap Boy. Who managed to take all of a 15-minute nap, just before I had to leave. (I think his teeth are bothering him--he hasn't been sleeping well at night, either.) If anyone figures out time travel, will you let me in on the secret? I need a full night's sleep, plus two hours of uninterrupted time with a working computer and no natural disasters. Please?
