Just remind me not to do another ice storm any time soon. For anyone who has never experienced one, no, it is NOT southerners being wimpy about cold weather. It's a phenomenon when rain freezes as it falls and lands, causing a buildup of solid ice on everything.

There is still a TON of cleanup, and there are still people without power. My parents live in the north central part of Arkansas and are out in the country, and they don't have water, either. (Their well is electric.) We're hoping for the best, but with so many power lines to repair, we know it will be a long time--some people are saying weeks?? Hopefully the trees will be off the road soon so they can at least get out. And I know in Kentucky they are going through the same things right now. So--thanks for your prayers, we survived, and now pray for those who are still cold and miserable!
