1017 words this morning--and it's not even noon! It's great when you have a scene that just flies out of your fingers in a short amount of time. (Especially if ALL your time comes in very short amounts.)
I am technically revising the bulk of what I have so it's all in line to write the ending. I'm chopping and writing new stuff as well. It all goes into a completely new file. It's fun to see the word count grow dramatically by adding in already-written scenes, but what is really good for me is to see the book going by at a much more speeded-up pace. It helps me be much more present in the book at large, which is really what I need if I'm going to learn this structure stuff once and for all.
*Skips off to do laundry and lunch now.* Maybe everyone will go to bed and I'll be able to work more later?
