A note to Time

Where ARE you these days?? I swear you have completely abandoned me. Do you know that my teeny brain can't complete anything without you? That these days I can't seem to complete a single train of thought before the next thing I need to address is already there? That 62K of story is waiting for you so it can be completed? You peek through the window after all my kids are asleep--but you always bring your friend Exhaustion. I don't like that friend; make him go away.
Maybe you are visiting the publishing industry a bit too much, hm? They seem rather overwhelmed with your presence. I suggest you not hang around them quite so often; they tend to turn you into long, stretchy taffy, pulling them out of sight.
