recommended movies?
Sep. 14th, 2008 05:23 pmWe're watching Narnia on a clear screen with speakers that actually work. Wow, what a great film. It succeeds in so many ways I wish I could accomplish in my writing. I can't wait until Prince Caspian comes out on DVD.
Speaking of movies, anyone know of any especially good ones that have come out in the past two years?
ETA: Oh, dear. Maybe watching Narnia was a mistake. Son #2 has been saying how sad he is and how he hates moving and he's tired of being locked inside all day, every day, and wants to walk places and do things on his own. The only park in walking distance (DH is bringing stuff up to his office with the car) turned out to be just a soccer practice field, with no playground equipment at all. He misses friends and everything about Germany. Not unlike being a child in this world and a warrior-king in another. He just asked me if I could make sure we could go back to Germany--soon.
