Jul. 30th, 2008 04:44 pmToday is a sunny day (actually, quite hot, but not rainy). When the neighbor friend came over, I sent the boys OUTSIDE. Both I and the boys thought the girls didn't need to come with, which made older daughter mad, but which made little sweetie very happy not to be left behind.
The Hungry Caterpillar has done a lot of sleeping today, and not so much eating. I think we're on the 10-day-old growth spurt. Either that or it's just too hot. In the meantime I'm going through stuff as fast as I can. I am going to have to go shopping for pants. I hate shopping (except for books). But I mournfully tossed all my jeans into the to-be-donated bag. I won't be able to wear them in the next four weeks and it's cheaper to buy new ones than ship these. But my current pants are only going to get looser than they are. Something must be done.
Still in moving panic, but overall today is somewhat better than yesterday. With the exception that it's been two days since dropping the application in the mail, and we still haven't heard a peep from the embassy.
