Happy summer!

Okay, so I've already drawn a line between the Quidditch world cup and the current European soccer cup. Today we've been treated to loud sounds from a high school soccer tournament down the nature path from us. They are all camped in tents in the neighboring field. I already live in a place with Unicorn Street and castles and cobblestones; when I look at this, I really shouldn't be surprised if, instead of a ping pong ball turning up on my balcony from the tutoring center next door, we find a snitch one morning.

Happy summer, everyone! Happy long day, short night, golden grass heads heavy with heat, turquoise skies, blood-red berries...all the good stuff (and no more floods!) I'm off to the playground.
