Okay, I realize that one good writing day isn't necessarily a prediction of the next six weeks, but I do feel like finally I've got holiday madness behind me (yeah, I know, it's the 21st of January) and can more reliably and regularly write. I've been stuck on a chapter because I haven't had uninterrupted time for it, but today I had a late-morning appointment and DH stayed home to watch the little sweetie so I could go alone, which meant--writing time! It's amazing what you can do in an hour when you're entirely uninterrupted. I've now added 1200 words (okay, so maybe 400 of those were ones I plugged in from a scene draft--but I did have to make them fit, which involved some changing around). The future always looks bright when you've got 1200 words under your belt!

Of course, now I'm paying. DH went to work late, which means he'll be there late, which means I get to pick up second son from choir/recorder class. Which means I get to drag other little people out into the wind against their will to take a two-mile walk. Let's just say we are all getting healthy around here (grumpy, maybe, but healthy).

Time to go force people into clothes.
