Children's writers are the nicest people!

Like you didn't know. :) I woke up to a couple of helpful notes today. Yes, my mood is always improved when I've slept some, but even when I haven't, I like hanging out with you people. Also, I went to the library today and found Blueboarder Jen Barnes's book Golden displayed face-out. It's a very friendly feeling to recognize books out of context like this.

Today is my older daughter's sixth birthday. Where does the time go?? And my husband has been at a conference this week and he comes back today--yay! It was only three days. Still. I don't like when he's not here.

The cold is mostly gone and my insides don't feel like I've eaten nails any more. Now I've got to go back and see if what I wrote when I was sick makes any sense.
