Aug. 30th, 2007 11:11 pmOne big revision thread down. I have other, smaller threads to deal with still, but the ms changed enough that I really needed to print out another copy. I'm trying to see it all at once, and 8-point font just looks better in print than on a (dying) laptop screen. Sorry, rainforest! If I sell a zillion copies I'll make sure they're all printed on paper recycled from my early drafts.
Anyhow, instead of reaching the middle and going, "that was an interesting chapter, now what was the book about again?" I'm feeling propelled deeper into the book. Which is somewhat reassuring. It remains to be seen if anyone else feels that way, I suppose.
Unfortunately, after making notes on the hard copy all day while at the playground, now that the kids are FINALLY in bed, I'm now too tired to deal with the actual changes to be made in the ms itself. And tomorrow I have to go school shopping, which will definitely suck all my brainpower and time.
Ah, well. Sleep is good, too, right?
