brain in overdrive

Obviously I've moved far too often in my life, and the simple fact that I'm not moving this summer doesn't seem to stop my brain from thinking that, anyway. Last night I dreamed we were doing a mini-move, just for the summer. To Borneo. We'd pulled the kids out in the middle of their final exams, and were trying to figure out how to finish the rest of them so they could pass their grade levels this year. (Since flying back to Germany for the rest of the exams would be expensive, not to mention take a long time.)

This fall is when the academic job market starts up again, which will decide where we end up living after we leave here. Not Borneo. Please not Borneo!
