Guess that job
Apr. 22nd, 2007 09:58 pmYou do it early in the morning (5 or 6 am), and outside/in a public area, where someone could accidentally run into you if they happened to be up then--and accidentally-on-purpose run into you again.
You do it regularly (daily or weekly).
Your employers are the kind who have no qualms against taking advantage of teen workers. And they have a carrot that you're reaching for, so you keep giving in and doing what they ask/demand.
It's a very unromantic sort of job/setting.
You can do it in Michigan in the late summer/early fall.
Anyone ever work a job that sounds like this?
Also, does anyone know anything about Asuncion, Paraguay (where to find realia on local transportation, finding a job or housing, etc.)?
And, anyone know any good games for small groups that require people to use language? Things like charades, Werewolves, the Great Dalmuti (okay, I haven't played that one in ten years, so I can't actually remember how much language it uses--but it's fun). I'm looking for games that can be adapted to foreign language instruction (ie, Spanish) where, in order to play the game and have fun, you HAVE to master and use some basic part of the language. Fun group games? Good web site recommendations?
