I'm really enjoying these posts of yours...I always wanted to be able to draw. My mom says anyone can, but I'm not convinced ;) However, yours are lovely, and I like how you capture so much of the movement and essence of the person in so few strokes.

I think drawing is mostly seeing right, and practicing (and therefore something learnable!) It helps that I'm drawing people I see all the time. And I'm doubly impressed by all those photorealistic paintings from times before cameras. I can do sketches, but a whole painting of someone just holding still? That would be hard!
