Ring ring!

Frau Green, please come pick up your vomiting daughter.

At least they offered to let the other kids out early so I didn't have to come back an hour later with a vomiting child in tow. (Actually, son #2 is right--in the afternoons, at least, they don't seem to have many pressing things going on. Or maybe the secretary is just unfussed about kids missing a bit of school here and there.)

Please, Vomit Fairy--go away. We don't want you to stay here. Please!

Hmmm....looking through my book on Vomit Fairy Rituals.

Ah ha-- gather 100 people under a full moon and sacrifice 100 sunflowers. Then the vomit fairy will go away.

I really do hope it goes away soon....that's not fun at all.

LOL--I hope it doesn't take that much to get rid of that bad fairy. She seems to be feeling some better now (no more vomit, anyhow), but I'm just crossing my fingers that no one else gets it. We're still doing the pink stuff for a double ear infection (Lap Boy), so it would be nice if we could get to experience wellness soon.

We were visited by the vomit fairy twice last year (one month apart) and then the day we were supposed to return from our Christmas break trip. That's good they let the others out.

I hope she feels better soon. The stomach bug that went through our household lasted less than 24 hours.

Well, except for a headache, she seems to be feeling better now. She has to stay home tomorrow--they enforce a 24-hour vomit-free zone, they say--so maybe she'll just get a fun day off of school tomorrow. And hopefully the rest of us will stay well!

That's the worst worst kind of sick ever! I hope it gets out of your family very soon.

Tell me about it. She took a long nap when she got home, and says that her stomach is fine, but her head hurts. So maybe she had a migraine? Can 7-year-olds even get migraines? I don't even get regular headaches, so I don't know, but the two events seem to be linked. Or maybe it's just plain germs.

Whatever it is, it would probably be helped by Motrin, rest and time. No fun. Good luck!

Rose, I've been missing your blog posts lately for some reason! Sorry to hear about the Vomit Fairy visiting your house. Ick! Hoping the writing's going well though :-)

That's weird--but sometimes LJ does things like that to me, too, like not sending me notifications of replies and stuff.

I'm still here and beating my head against the writing wall...

That particular fairy must be rather busy right now. We had a visit yesterday, too. Of course, the visit could have something to do with the pan of choc. chip cookie bars that disappeared while I was out of the room for a moment. Three year olds are fast, really fast.

I hope he feels better soon--we did a 3-hour drive to see my parents the day after Halloween, and some other 3-year-old sneaked her Halloween candy in the back seat. Chocolate vomit...yeah, it was really something.

Poor daughter. Hope she's better soon.

Thanks--she is. But the school says she still has to stay home an extra day to be sure, so she's having a fun vacation. (I suspect she got her hands on some skiving snackboxes...)
