DH says it's "only" a mechanical issue, ie, the case is starting to fall apart (the edge by the keyboard has snapped), which makes the thing slightly unstable and pulls apart connections sometimes. So the solution is to um, bend it around when it starts acting up. Yeah, anyway. I'm going to have to back up like I've got some kind of compulsive disorder.

Anyway, it's working again, but I'm now the one crashing. I hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day (I only recently realized that's why LJ and Verla's and my crit group and basically everyone I know in the US is on silence today).

Wow, I didn't know you knew that kind of language. Seriously, I know how you feel. I'm there, too. I live in hope that someday I will be able to afford a computer that works. I don't know what to about my brain, though. It seems to be in pretty bad shape, too.

It would be really nice if you could just spend $50 and get a warranty for all the technology you would ever own. But whatever company that did that would go out of business..... I hope it keeps working, and that your creative juices flow fast as high-speed DSL.
