My oldest son's friend is here right now as we try to push all the kids off to school. My son has just announced that it's completely definite that we are moving (we've tried to hold off on announcements until we've had a specific destination set up). They would be going to different schools in any case--my son to gymnasium (the college track) and the friend to realschule (the middle track--where often you get paid more in the end than your college-educated peers, actually). But still, it's sad to know your friend and neighbor will be leaving. So the friend says, I'll get my papa to call your papa. He knows of a great job at an Altenpflegeheim (nursing home)!

This only follows the line of jobs second son has come up with for DH--electrician, pet groomer, etc.

Cute...it's nice that their friends want them to stay, just makes it harder when the actual moving day comes along. And DH must feel good to know that as far as the kids are concerned, he can do everything. LOL. Have a great day.

You know, depending on just how old the residents are, your DH's area of expertise may come in handy. I think you should look into it.

I meant the residents of the home, but, according to the "Bild," Germany is being taken over by the elderly, so either way . . .
