Messiah sing-along

Cool. My town does a Messiah sing-along every year in the largest old church in town. (It looks like something straight out of Germany.) I heard about it by accident and so we went tonight. We left the non-musical kid home because he didn't want to go, and also the 5YO because we didn't know how long it was. It turned out that both of them probably would have liked it, so if we're here next year, we'll bring everyone. Of course we slaughtered the singing--it's been 16 years since I went to a thing like this (JUST before my oldest was born). But even though the church was gorgeous and the musicians were excellent, there was also a low-key, fun feel to it all, so it was okay.

It sure is cold, though. Brr.
