It's taken us nearly a year, but we've finally traversed most main areas of Yellowstone (that are accessible by car--we haven't touched the 1000 miles of trails). Two months ago we were there and found snow up to the roofs on the Idaho/Montana border, but happily for them, the snow is gone. At high elevations in the park, there is still snow, but the roads are clear. You can see the marks of snow plows on the snow at the side of the road, though! But the weather was pleasant and we (mostly) didn't need our sweaters. We did see many fields of wild daisies on the Idaho part of the trip:
