There is nothing like your son calling you from school to ask if you'll bring his dress clothes because surprise! He has a choir concert TODAY. Did I know about this? No. Add to that the fact that the city has decided--in the last two weeks of school--to completely dig up the intersection by the middle school, thus blocking all entrances. Parking was...interesting.

This was also the same day as art.

Let's just say it's been a busy day. Luckily it was also warm (68!!). Tomorrow we might even...ooh...break 70! Every single person in town was outside today to behold the wonder of the sun.

Then tonight we watched the second semifinal of Eurovision. I really liked a lot of songs from the first round. I liked um...one song from this one (Denmark). While they're not my style, I knew Sweden (heavily Michael-Jackson-influenced) and Ireland (run. Just run.) would go on to the finals, and they did. Still looking forward to France and England, who are permanent members (ie they contribute most of the money along with Spain and Germany and Italy) and therefore don't have to try out to be in the finals. The Ukrainian song didn't do much for me, but I really liked their visuals--they had someone drawing in sand during the whole song.

Saturday is the final. I'm predicting a win for Finland, although I really like several songs (including that one).
