Menan Butte

So it wasn't so nice today but with nine kids at your house, you have to run them somehow. So in the middle of the day we took a quick trek to Menan Butte. Ie, this is an extinct volcano.



Whoa. Windy! Huge gusts. Lots of sand/dust blowing. We had to hold onto the kids so they wouldn't blow away. You can see the dust clouds. (There are sand dunes off that way, plus lots of freshly plowed fields.)
