sleep is good
Feb. 12th, 2009 01:11 pmThe world looks so much different once you've slept. Yay!
1. I am taking myself firmly in grip to organize my time better. No more staying up late to read old records. I've met my goal for deciphering for today, and it's time to move on to something else.
2. All those days with my head in 1715 Bohemia have their good side, though--my mind is fresh to look at my first third of the WIP (what I've really been trying to wrench into shape so the rest makes sense and the right set of stakes gets set up early enough and strong enough). I think I can do it. I'm feeling positive, anyhow. In my head it's a set of parallel strings with a weight on each one. Depending on where you hang your weight, you can get a different story every time. I think I'm getting the weights right. We'll see once I revise this section yet again.
3. Yes, I still have to write up my review (preferably before my kids make off with the ARC and I lose the instructions paper inside), but I'm wondering if it's possible to do a blanket preorder for all the books
rj_anderson is ever going to write? I admit I much prefer the title Knife to Faery Rebels, but oh, my, I enjoyed that book!
4. Little Sweetie is down for a nap. Back to the WIP!
