Otherwise, they will insist on listening to screen after screen of yodeling. I'm not kidding. This is the daughter who could probably sing Mozart's Queen of the Night aria. We might keep that one out of earshot unless we need some glass shattered. She just went off to play, humming one of the yodels. Um. And the littlest announced very solemnly that she plans to yodel with her Oma and Opa (grandma and grandpa) next time she sees them. Be warned.
In other Germany observations today, there was a new Dodge Ram 4x4 parked outside the kindergarten. It looked HUGE compared to everything else around here. And everyone was staring! You'd think it was a Cullen car or something. Some old guy was just gawking at it, some little kids were hanging through the fence when I went back later, and they enviously asked if that was my car. Uh, no. (Actually, I'm wondering how on earth the owner buys gas for that thing--if gas is $9 a gallon around here??)
