The hard thing about writing/revising...
May. 28th, 2008 08:27 pm...is knowing what to leave out. I have a ton of scenes and I know I need to jettison some, but it's hard to see them all at the same time to compare. I swear I need to discover a whole new dimension of brain power to do this revision. I'm sure it doesn't help that we've gone from jacket weather to 85 degrees in a matter of days. (And German houses don't have AC.) I'm dripping with sweat, and my brain feels slippery as well.
(And is it just me, or has LJ changed their format for posting? It doesn't have the option of turning off or using HTML, which is very annoying. Hopefully we'll be back to normal, and this isn't the new default.)
Also, how drastic is it to be at 31 weeks and have your kid still sitting breech? My doctor hasn't seemed worried, he just notes it in my little "Mutterpass" that everyone gets, but I think he's expecting me to actually reach my due date, something I've never done. The last kid was 3 weeks early, which would give me just 6 more weeks. (And yes, I do know how the kid is sitting because my doctor does ultrasounds at every visit. If it were up to me, I'd have no idea, as it seems there are several soccer teams playing in there at once.)
