sun, wind, rain
Mar. 12th, 2008 12:51 pmMy girls are watching a show called Elees in Voonderlahnd. I think it's Japanese-made; it has that manga look. I wonder how much of the story is really going to come through. I shouldn't chuckle at the way they're singing the title on the opening credits. I'm sure Germans think I talk funny, too.
Do you ever have a day when you just feel so creative that you don't know what to do first? I was reading about portrait tips last night and did some playing with the camera this morning. But we're having typical spring weather--wind, rain, spots of sun, and repeat. So the lighting was bad. I want to draw, I want to write, and tonight I'm going to a dinner and agreed to bring a salad, so I thought I'd be creative and do one I've eaten but never made. I hope it turns out. It calls for dry mustard, which I've never used or bought. What is the stuff anyway, does anyone know? I have some mustard seeds, but the only other mustard I know is the yellow paste that dessicates in our fridge.
I think everyone who is getting stuck on their writing needs some sunlight. It sure does help! That bit we had this week was really motivating, even a couple days later!
