google (in English)

Just curious--is google down? DS was trying to use it last night to research for a presentation and then it stopped responding. I can't get it, either, although the rest of the internet is working fine. And I can even get google.de. But not regular google.

Or maybe it's banned German searchers?? I did have a couple of denials the other day--one was the chamber of commerce of a city I was researching (wouldn't let me view a page of local pictures because I had a German ISP) and one was a really normal search result that also wouldn't let me see it. Last I knew Germany wasn't um, bad or anything.

Is it just me?
