Happy vacation!

The kids were even quiet when they woke up early this morning--probably a first!

I'm hoping to do some last-minute shopping today, to do a day trip with the whole family, to (maybe) eat waffles, to finish up a crit for someone, and to get some writing done (lying in the comfortable morning dark means picking out more story threads--but how will I find time to write them all down??). I just want to say thanks for your friendship, support, encouragement in writing, crits, etc this year. And so many of you have had such awesome news this year! It makes me smile every time I see that another great writer has found an agent and another great book has found a home. My husband is seriously impressed at the wave of upcoming talent I'm always telling him about. :)

I'm sure I'll be back (I can't stay away long), but if not, then have a great holiday!
