word counts

I'm guessing on total length here, but I really do think my current WIP will be shorter than the last one. So, here's my tentative percentage done:

24,315 / 50,000 (48.6%)

That includes two chapters that aren't hooked in. And I can't quite wrap my mind around a 50K book, but I'm cruising close to the point in the middle of the book where everything is supposed to go well, only to collapse shortly thereafter. I imagine that to be 2/3 of the way through, which should mean that I'm nearly half way right now.

Wow, I didn't realize I'd made so much progress!
