I don't know how to put all these in one entry, but I've been collecting German street signs for awhile now. I especially like the older ones, that seem somewhat disjointed. They have character. The newer ones look more like stick figures. Anyhow, this is a school crossing one.

My city has a lot of new housing areas going up right now (which isn't normal for Germany). This sign appears frequently in front of people's brand-new yards.

I'm sure I'll find others in the future, but to date, this is my favorite sign yet. You find this one way out in the middle of NOwhere. It marks parking lots for trailheads. Can you imagine anyone LESS likely to go hiking in the middle of nowhere?
