seven songs

melissa_writing to list seven songs I'm into right now. Um. I'm not really up on the recent music scene (never really have been--okay, I'm a weirdo, I admit it). So be prepared to shake your head and give me up for lost.
Seven songs I like (in no particular order):
1. Cow Planet (Billy J. Kramer/Sandra Boynton)
2. Sussex Carol
3. Third and fourth movements of Saint Saens' Organ Symphony
4. Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen
5. new age/jazz piano by Jon Schmidt
6. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, track 7 (Window to the Past)
7. Into the West (Annie Lennox, from The Return of the King soundtrack)
I like um, songs from the 80s, too. Alphaville and Erasure and um, people like that. And I like the oddities the annual Eurovision music contest spawns. And Andean folk music. And Bach (but not Mozart). And just about all Slavic composers. And polyphonic choir music (Morten Lauridsen and Thomas Tallis). I can't write with music going on at all, though, so I go through stages of not listening to much at all.
